2024 Stakeholder Survey – Key Trends & Takeaways

Note on Scope of Work

While the Downtown Improvement District plays a direct role in keeping our neighborhood clean, safe, and vibrant, there are certain issues that fall outside of our authority to directly fix. These include:

  • City infrastructure such as sidewalks, lighting, and street repairs
  • Placement and maintenance of public trash cans and recycling bins
  • Social challenges such as individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Law enforcement and ordinances including loitering laws

We cannot resolve these items ourselves, but we actively advocate with the City of Omaha and the appropriate agencies on behalf of our stakeholders to ensure your concerns are heard.
