Utility Box (Traffic Cabinet) Art Project

Transforming the ordinary into extraordinary, ODID’s Utility Box Art Wrap Project enlivens traffic cabinets across Omaha’s CBD and Old Market with vibrant local artistry. Eight regional artists painted directly onto the boxes—designs approved by the Omaha Public Art Commission—thanks to support from local partners and grants. You can meet the artists and explore their work here.

Downtown Welcome Ambassadors

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we've been unable to staff the Welcome Ambassador program. While ambassadors aren’t currently on duty, we’re hopeful it will return one day.
