ODID Downtown Community Conversation

Wednesday, June 6 from 5 to 7 pm
1415 Meeting Space located at 1415 Harney St

The Downtown Improvement District will be hosting a public meeting this week to discuss the tragic shooting in Old Market this past weekend. We’ll be discussing potential community solutions such as an underage curfew, improved lighting and security in our public spaces, and activation of trouble spots.
We’ll be hearing from the Mayor’s office, the Omaha Police Department, members of City Council, and our own private security force, Lionsgate Security, as we discuss our past efforts and work with members of the community towards future solutions. Our goal is to come up with a reasonable and holistic prevention plan that is sustainable, enforceable, and not burdensome.
Please join us for this important community conversation this Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM at the 1415 Meeting Space, located at 1415 Harney St.
